Androgyne Pride Flag Version 1
Androgyne is an identity under the non-binary umbrella. It is described as being simultaneously male and female or in between male and female, or as being simultaneously masculine and feminine or in between masculine and feminine. Some androgyne people may identify as bigender, with one masculine gender and one feminine gender, while others may identify as a single gender that is somewhere in between man and woman or masculine and feminine, but not completely one or the other.
One does not necessarily have to feel equal amounts of masculinity and femininity. For example, one could feel 80% feminine and 20% masculine and still be androgyne. For some androgyne people the amount of masculinity and femininity they feel can be fluid.
Historically androgyne, or androgynous, was used interchangeably with intersex, however it's now recognized that that is not accurate. Not all intersex people are androgyne and vice versa. Some people may use androgyne interchangeably with non-binary or genderqueer, although this is not completely accurate.
Androgyne should not be confused with androgynous. Androgynous is a gender presentation where someone presents with a mix of masculine and feminine features or in a gender neutral way. Not all androgyne people will present androgynously, and not all people who present androgynously are androgyne. Androgynous is a quality that a gender or gender presentation can have, but it is not a gender on its own.https://lgbta.wikia.org/wiki/Androgyne

- Indoor use is suggested to maximize the life of the flag, but it is made of tent fabric, and may be hung outdoors.
- The flag is a one-sided print, so it doesn't suit flagpoles, but is great to hang from a balcony or on your wall.
- Manufactured by a small company in the US
“NinjaFerret.ca” is written discreetly in the bottom right corner of the flags, so that you can find me again. Apologies to those who find that cheezy.
SINGLE VS DOUBLE-SIDED FLAGS
Single reverse flags often called single sided flags are the most common flag design. This is where the design is printed correctly on one side of the flag and the ink bleeds through the material so the design appears as a mirror image on the back or reverse side.
Single Reverse: Design is only done on 1 side of the flag but shows through to the other side in a reverse image. The majority of flags are created this way, including most provincial flags and corporate flags. A single reverse flag is lightweight and is most cost-effective.
Double-Sided: Design reads correctly on both sides of the flag. Typically this flag is 2 single-sided flags sewn back to back to make it double thickness. This type of flag is commonly hung horizontally indoors. Double sided advertising flags are heavier than a single reverse flag and are not typically recommended for outdoor use.
